Detailed Itinerary (4 Nights / 5 Days)
Arrival in Srinagar & Base Camp Transfer (Baltal or Pahalgam)
Welcome to Srinagar. Upon your arrival at Srinagar International Airport or Railway Station, you will be greeted by our professional, verified local driver. After a brief briefing, you will board your private, sanitized vehicle (such as a Maruti Ertiga or Toyota Innova) and begin the scenic drive toward the base camp. If you choose the Baltal route, the drive takes you along the pristine Sindh River via Sonamarg, known as the 'Meadow of Gold'. If you choose the traditional Pahalgam route, the road winds along the Lidder River past saffron fields. You will check into your pre-booked, neat and hygienic tented camp or hotel. Enjoy the cool mountain breeze and prepare for the next day's spiritual journey. Overnight stay at base camp.
Holy Darshan of the Amarnath Ice Lingam
Wake up early in the morning to start your journey to the Holy Cave of Lord Shiva. If you are trekking via Baltal, the 14-kilometer path takes you through steep climbs and scenic ridges. If you are trekking via Pahalgam, you will proceed from Chandanwari. Alternatively, you can opt for pony, palki, or the helicopter services from Baltal or Neelgrath helipads. Upon reaching the Holy Cave, stand in awe of the naturally formed Ice Lingam representing Lord Shiva, along with manifestations of Goddess Parvati and Lord Ganesha. Take time for prayers and Vedic rituals. After seeking divine blessings, trek back to the base camp for a hot dinner and well-deserved rest. Overnight stay at camp.
Transfer Back to Srinagar & Dal Lake Houseboat Experience
After a satisfying breakfast at the base camp, pack your bags and board your private vehicle for the journey back to Srinagar. As you descend the winding mountain roads, enjoy the changing landscapes from rugged cliffs to valley plains. Upon arrival in Srinagar, check into a premium, handpicked traditional Kashmiri Houseboat on the serene waters of Dal Lake or Nigeen Lake. In the evening, experience a relaxing 1-hour Shikara ride, gliding past floating gardens and wooden bridges while watching the sunset paint the mountains in golden hues. Relish a traditional Kashmiri dinner onboard. Overnight stay in Srinagar houseboat.
Srinagar Local Sightseeing and Cultural Tour
Spend a full day exploring the beautiful heritage of Srinagar. Visit the world-famous Mughal Gardens, including Nishat Bagh (The Garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), built by Emperor Jehangir. Climb the hill to visit the ancient Shankaracharya Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, which offers a breathtaking bird's-eye view of the entire Srinagar city and Dal Lake. In the afternoon, visit local handicraft markets to shop for authentic pashmina shawls, saffron, dry fruits, and hand-carved wooden items. In the evening, enjoy a warm cup of traditional Kashmiri Kahwa tea. Overnight stay in Srinagar hotel.
